My career has been a continuous progression of designing, integrating, and delivering reliable systems across a range of aerospace and mechanical programs. I’ve worked on everything from prototype hardware and avionics integration to testing and verification for flight systems, always drawn to the challenge of turning abstract requirements into working, field-ready solutions.
At Outpost Technologies, I manage multiple product efforts, overseeing the redesign of legacy networking hardware while developing a new system from the ground up. My work includes design, procurement, and manufacturing planning, as well as direct collaboration with vendors and customers to bring first article units into production. I also lead a small team developing a fast-response refueling system through a federal SBIR program, where I’ve guided concept design, testing, and reporting that helped secure continued development funding.
Before that, I worked at Boeing supporting NASA’s Space Launch System program, focusing on avionics hardware and software integration for the Core and Upper Stages. I applied modeling, testing, and data analysis tools to verify complex subsystems, helping ensure that hardware met flight requirements under demanding technical and schedule constraints. Earlier experiences as a biomechanics research technician and an engineering teaching assistant reinforced my hands-on approach to learning and experimentation while refining how I communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
Through each role, I’ve built a consistent foundation of technical rigor, curiosity, and collaboration, qualities that continue to shape how I approach engineering challenges today.

Outside of engineering, I spend my free time outdoors or in motion. Endurance sports like road and trail running, hiking, triathlon, and kayaking keep me grounded and continually learning about discipline and patience. I am driven to find where my limits are, then figure out a way past them. I enjoy exploring new routes, training towards various goals, and simply being immersed in the process.
Much of that time is also shared with my wife and our dogs, whether we’re on a trail, at the lake, or just making the most of a quiet weekend outside. The outdoors has always been a source of balance and perspective for me, a reminder to approach challenges with persistence and curiosity.
When I’m not outside, I’m usually reading, listening to music, or trying out new recipes in the kitchen. I also love to travel and explore different landscapes and cultures, catching live music or a great film, and taking in the energy of a sporting event. Those experiences help me recharge and bring a sense of curiosity and creativity that carries into every part of my work and life.
